Wooden Guitar Pickup Rings

Im waiting on some custom wooden guitar pickup rings I recently ordered. They're rosewood, which if you look on this types of wood for guitar parts guide, will give the guitar a more dark and warm sound. This is what I want because Im modifying my guitar for a mellow and dark jazz sound. This guitar customization should almost complete what I want to do with my main guitar.

The wooden guitar pickup rings are tapered to fit my stop tail piece style electric guitar, you can get them flat as well, to fit other types of guitars. As always, I favor wooden guitar parts, for their sound benefits and their look. When Im done customizing this guitar, it should be made entirely out of mahogany and rosewood, with a quilted maple top.

Actually the last thing I will need after I install the wooden pickup rings is to get a wooden truss rod cover. This will get rid of the lame model name on the cheap plastic truss rod cover that the guitar currently has. These guitar customizations and modifications have made a huge difference on my electric guitar so far, and I cant wait to get them all completed.
