A Quick Guitar Modification

This post is just going to be about a quick and simple guitar mod that you can do in no time at all. Its really more of an adjustment that you should check on your guitar, but it is something that is not mentioned too often so it would seem to be worth covering. On most guitars, there are little screws that control the tightness of the tuner heads. You should check to make sure that yours are tight and maybe tighten them up even more if they can be.

What this modification will do is make your tuners harder to turn and knock out of place. This means that putting your guitar down on something, or into its case will not push it out of tune as easily, and this can be a great thing if you move around with your guitar a lot and want it going out of tune as little as possible.

This guitar mod will also help the guitar stay in better tune in general, and if there is any simple thing you can do that will help with this, it is worth it to try.

There are many little guitar customizations, modifications, and other adjustments that can all add up to increase the performance of your guitar, so it is good to be on the look out for them. Many people are satisfied with the guitar they have although it could be easily upgraded with little effort. Since you want your instrument to be as playable and inspiring as possible, it makes sense to invest the time in guitar modifications.
